Carly: Who are you? Where are you from? What do you do for a living?
Aaron: My name is Aaron Feldstein. I am a native Houstonian who currently works on the oil and gas supply chain. I purchase fittings and flanges for a distribution company. It’s way sexier than it sounds, I promise!
Carly: What was your 'Jewish experience' like in college?
Aaron: As an undergraduate at the University of Maryland - College Park, I was a dedicated member of the Jewish community. From serving on the board of my Jewish fraternity (ZBT) to volunteering at the Hillel on campus, I loved the Jewish culture at UMD. Plus, I was (allegedly) a hot commodity amongst the Jewish girls :)
Carly: How has your time in Houston been?
Aaron: Returning to Houston as an adult has been an eye opening experience. Growing up, I was consumed by my little bubble in Meyerland and Bellaire. I did not realize all that the city has to offer - bars, restaurants etc. It’s only been about 9 months since I’ve been back, but I definitely feel at home again, despite living outside of my parents’ house.
Carly: What has been the biggest surprise about living in Houston?
Aaron: See above ^
Carly: What do you enjoy most about Jewston events?
Aaron: I just love Jews. No matter how different we may be, we have that one very important trait in common to bond over. Plus, I’m a beast at Jewish geography.
Carly: Is there anything else you want the Jewston community to know?
Aaron: My friend, Scott Sebert, is single and ready to mingle. He’s a funny and charming fellow, with a great personality! Hit his line ladies!
